What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. “Similar technologies” includes browser local storage and session storage, which work in much the same way. We use the word “cookies” below to cover all of them.
This site is operated by Venandi Solutions Limited, trading as The Trust Leader, a company registered in England and Wales under number 07682213, registered office 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE.
Essential storage we always use
These are needed to make the site work and to honour the choice you make about analytics. They are used whether or not you accept analytics, because without them we could not remember that you said no.

Analytics, only if you agree
If you choose Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 and it sets its own cookies. If you choose Essential only, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded at all — the script is not requested and no analytics cookies are set.
We use analytics to understand which pages and journeys are useful. Specifically:
- Which pages are visited, in what order, and for how long.
- Which links and buttons are used, so we can tell what people are actually looking for.
- Whether a visit continued from this website into the Trust Leader platform at
hub.thetrustleader.com. Google Analytics links the two domains so a single visit is not counted as two separate people. - Where a visit came from, including any campaign tags on the link you followed.
We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share analytics data for advertising.
Why we show a choice
Under UK law, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for do not need consent. Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, so they do need it. That is why this site asks, and why nothing analytical happens until you say yes.
Third parties
We keep these to a minimum. On this website they are:
- Google (Analytics 4) — only after you accept analytics, as described above.
- Samai — our waitlist and trial sign-up forms are embedded from Samai on a small number of pages, including the waitlist, the trial invitation and the Trust Telegraph sign-up. When one of those forms loads, Samai may set its own cookies, governed by their notices rather than ours. If you do not open those pages, no Samai form loads.
- Netlify — hosting. Serves the pages and keeps security logs.
We do not embed advertising networks or social media trackers.
The Trust Leader platform is different
The signed-in platform at hub.thetrustleader.com usesstrictly necessary cookies only — keeping you signed in, protecting your session, and remembering your consent choices. There is no analytics there. Our payment provider, Paddle, may set its own strictly necessary cookies when you make a purchase.
Changing your mind, or clearing cookies
Your choice is stored in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s stored data in your browser settings and the choice will be offered again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser. Blocking essential storage will not stop you reading the site, but we will have to ask about analytics every time.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s own browser add-on.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version shown here is the current one, with the “last updated” date above. If we ever introduce a new kind of cookie, we will ask before setting it.
